'Garment Designer In-Depth' with a focus on Creative Design
This year we are taking the Design Retreat to Cimmaron, New Mexico and settling into a 100-year old inn. The focus this year is on really getting down to work, using Garment Designer, and stretching the software's abilities. Whether you knit or sew, you will love what you will learn about Garment Designer. In addition to hands-on workshop, moving from project to project, there will be lots of talk on design, embellishment, etc. Optional evening projects will be offered. You will be free to work into the wee hours of the night, as we have taken over the entire Inn. Enrollment is limited, and we encourage some room-sharing so that more people can attend. Besides the workshop days (August 16th and 17th), there are two days of exploring the fiber and arts areas of Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico.
