FAQ #1: Uninstalling Garment Styler?
Question:
Should I uninstall Garment Styler prior to installing Designer?
Answer:
No, if you own Style Set 1. The Garment Designer installer actually
looks on your computer to determine if you own Style Set 1 with
Styler. If you do, the installer will verify the file and install
Style Set 1 in your Designer folder. Since the languages between
Designer and Styler differ, you cannot simply take your Style Set
1 files from Styler into Designer. Once Designer is installed, verify
that you have the Style Set 1 file (it should be in the Plug-Ins
folder within Designer's folder), then you may choose to remove
Garment Styler. If you do not remove Styler, it is OK, but we can't
guarantee which program (Styler or Designer) will load when you
double-click on a file.
FAQ #2: Invalid security number during installation
Question:
When I enter my security code, I am told that it is not a valid
number. Why?
Answer:
You must use upper case letters, and 'zeros' as opposed to '0's.
It is important to read the manual for this install, as you can
avoid a possible phonecall to Cochenille. If you attempt an install
and 'abort' in the middle of the install, it will most likely be
necessary to call Cochenille for a phone unlock. Nearly 95% of the
time, phone unlocks are not necessary, if you have an Internet connection.
But DO read the Install manual, as it will explain clearing, what
to do.
FAQ
#3: Keeping my custom slopers from Garment Styler
Question:
Do I need to input all my custom slopers from Styler again?
Answer:
No, The Install manual walks you through how to carry forward your
old custom sloper file.
