In honor of Black History month, Susan is presenting a free lecture on the Textile of Africa. This will take place this Sunday, February 21^st at 1 p.m. Pacific time. She originally prepared this to present at the Visions Art Museum in San Diego, as part of an exhibit on African textiles. Various textile and textile art techniques will be covered in a very visual talk. Learn about Kente, Adinkra, Mud, Kuba cloth, and more. Also see how fashion utilizes these textiles.
