Flip Horizontal/Flip Vertical/Rotate Right/Rotate Left  (Edit Menu)

These command items apply to the Pixel-per-Stitch Graphics (Garment or Band) and the Pattern Layout windows accessed through the Generate menu. Once you have graphics displayed in either of these windows, you may select one garment piece (by clicking on it), or all of them (by not selecting a singular piece) or clicking ‘away’ (from all selected pieces) and change the orientation of the graphic. This allows knitters to generate sideways and top-down knitting instructions. Choose the Shaping Instructions command from the Generate menu to request shaping instructions. Sewers will use this feature to obtain a more efficient pattern layout (see page 6-48 of your manual for further details).
 
Tip:
If you only want shaping instructions for one piece, simply click on the piece in the graphics window, flip and/or rotate, if desired and request instructions.
