How Selections Work

If you click on a segment, the segment will become selected (and thus red) and the endpoints associated with it will be visible. Dragging the segment will move it and its endpoints. Note, as you drag the segment, you will see a brown line indicating the new position as you move the segment. Once you release the mouse, the line turns black and the segment's position is now fixed in its new position.

If you click on a point and drag it, only that point will move. Note, as you drag the point, the new lines that are being positioned turn brown. Once you release the mouse, the lines turn black and the segments are fixed in their new position.

If you shift + click on multiple segments, or drag + select multiple segments, all the points will move as a 'unit' when you move any of the selected segments in the group. Note, as you drag the segments, the new lines that are being positioned turn brown. Once you release the mouse, the lines turn black and the segments are fixed in their new position.

Shift + click to deselect a segment or point you do not want in the group.

Note: Symmetry (Front/Back or Left/Right) is turned on by default. This function is found in the Options menu, and may be turned off at any point in time. This is occasionally necessary (e.g. you want to lower the depth of the front neck without lowering the back neck).
