Add Hem (Additions Menu)

This command option allows you to click on a segment and add a hem to it. Typically, this will be used by Sewers to add a hem to the lower edge of the garment, however knitters may use this function also.

To create a hem:

1. Select the segment.
2. On the Additions menu, click on Add Hem.
3. In the dialog box that opens, type in the hem name (optional) and hem width.
4. Click OK.
   The hem will appear in solid black and a dotted line will replace the original garment line.
