Export Method 2:

Importing the Garment into a Document larger than the Graphic and Cropping.
(Gold version)

Note:
These instructions presume you are working with one piece at a time, and thus you must click on the piece (in the Main or Bands Graphics window) you want to paste into Stitch Painter. It will be outlined. 'Click away' to deselect a piece.

1. Set the document size to be larger than what you estimate to be the size of your garment (in stitches and rows).
2. Using the Select tool, select the upper left corner stitch of the document (zoom in if necessary).
3. Choose a color in your palette that you would like as the background color of the garment.
4. Choose Paste Special to paste the graphic from the clipboard. You will see a marquee surrounding the image.
5. While the Marquee is still active, choose the File/Size from Selection menu to crop the image (Gold Version only. Standard version folk should choose to use method 1, discussed above).
