Export Method 1:

Importing the Actual Garment Size (un units wide and tall) using Select All
Note:
These instructions presume you are working with one piece at a time, and thus you must click on the piece (in the Main or Bands graphics window) you want to paste into Stitch Painter. It will be outlined. 'Click away' to deselect a piece.
 

1. Set the document size in Stitch Painter to be the same number of stitches and rows as the garment you designed in Garment Designer (look at the text instructions to determine this). Use the File/Set Document Size menu in Stitch Painter.
2. Select All using the Edit menu or double click on the Select tool. (Version 2.0 of Stitch Painter only).
3. Choose a color in your palette that you would like as the background color of the garment.
4. Paste Special to paste the graphic into Stitch Painter. You will see a marquee surrounding the image. (Note: If you have the Full Color Import module or a later version of Stitch Painter, you can use the Paste menu item here).
5. Click on a different tool in the toolbox to turn the marquee off.
