Garment Area (Generate Menu)

This command allows you to generate a window that contains a summary of the area of each garment piece. This information will be beneficial to people who work and think in terms of square feet/meters. For example some knitters like to knit a swatch of a specified size, then weigh the swatch to determine how many ounces/grams it weighs. Given a square footage summary for their project, it is possible to calculate the total weight of yarn needed for the project.
 
Garment Area information is presented in a report that summarizes each garment piece by name, size, style details, length and width, plus total area. Knitter's reports will also include the gauge.
